Terms of service
These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you agree to them.
Who we are TAMÀR is a trading name of German Car Breaker Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, registered office Groby Street, Unit 3, Oldham OL8 2AD, United Kingdom.
Orders Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order if the item is unavailable, if we cannot verify payment, or if there is a pricing error.
Pricing and payment Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable UK VAT where charged. Prices displayed in other currencies are approximate conversions; checkout is completed in the store currency shown at the payment step. Payment is taken in full at the time of order.
Made-to-measure garments Most TAMÀR pieces are cut and sewn to the measurements you supply at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of those measurements. We produce to the specification submitted with your order. Because these garments are made to your specification, they are exempt from the statutory 14-day cancellation right and are final sale. Please see our Refund Policy for full details, including your rights if an item is faulty.
Production and delivery times Made-to-measure pieces take approximately 2–4 weeks to produce before dispatch. Delivery times quoted are estimates and begin once your order is dispatched.
Product appearance Colour may appear slightly different in person due to photography lighting and screen calibration. Slight variation in handwork, lace placement and finishing is inherent to garments made by hand and is not a fault.
Intellectual property All content on this site — photographs, designs, text and the TAMÀR name and marks — belongs to us and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.
Liability Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability in relation to any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Force majeure We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, carrier failures, customs delays or other disruption.
Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
Changes We may update these terms. The version published at the time you place your order applies to that order.
